Impressively quick and affordable! I'm a "never-tester", but I can see where this would be an invaluable offering here in the States. So interesting! Thanks for the informative post, Jayshree!
lol. I can understand that. For some with blood sugar issues, it is helpful to test A1c numbers every 3 months. You are welcome, Mary - I had fun writing it - sometimes, the quirks of the system are not apparent unless we examine it closely.
Ahh! I forgot about blood sugar issues. Thanks for the reminder! And I agree about examining things closely and not only finding quirks, but using them - or a common sense substitute - to increase efficiency or productivity!
Sounds like a great wallet-mining scheme to fleece hypochondriacs. This is capitalism writ large. I'd suggest equal parts of P.T. Barnum and Milton Friedman...."There's a sucker born every minute" & "Freedom to choose".
Hi Jayshree, I continue to like this series. Do you have any information on the prevalence of fraud? Specifically, any "labs" that claim to do "tests" but actually do not, and reply with "fake" results either positive or negative?
Actually I would enjoy the ability to more easily request a test myself, and these prices seem good!
My doctor once commented that when he ordered blood tests before an annual exam, some patients would look at the results in the portal and if everything looked OK to them, they would not show up for the appointment with him!
Thanks Doug, glad to hear it. Yes, you are absolutely right - they do not show them if ok. lol. I’ve been guilty of indulging in tests too - those pesky vitamin levels! No, not much fraud reported around results just varying quality standards. If you go with top notch labs, it’s ok. If someone has no symptoms, they would never see a doctor, so doing at least an annual check is the preferred route for some professionals.

lol. Also, biohackers. Freedom to choose indeed.
